Can see but Cant join games

I think my problem is unique. XBC has found my 360 (I saw the MAC address) and I can see games that are available. But when I double click or hit "Join" the nest box comes up with just a blue bar and no games. After a few seconds it disappears. I've other games and game rooms- same prob. Can someone help please?

Unique? I don't think so, have you checked the basic stuff? Like portforwarding and making sure any other firewall is not blocking port 8602 TCP and UDP OR the XBC program?

If that doesn't help, install/check the checkbox for "Use WinPCap Library" under Tools>Options>General Options in XBC.

Also, if you are using Windows Vista OR Windows 7 you will have to install a different version of WinPCap to make it work, or you could just run XBC in compatibility mode with Windows XP SP2 & SP3.

I would agree it is a firewall. When the window dissapeers, that is a failed connection to the host. Either the host is blocking connections or your pc is blocking the connection.

Good hosts will have a number ping, FW = firewalled. If all hosts are FW then switch to winpcap as Lingenfelter said.
